Writers’ Day at the Writing North Winter Book Fest invites you to spend a focused, inspiring Sunday immersed in the craft and business of writing and publishing. From 10 a.m.–3 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, join an experienced group of authors for candid discussions on storytelling, revision, querying, publishing paths, and what it really takes to sustain a writing life. Rotating small-group conversations with featured authors. Attendees rotate every 20 minutes for direct access and candid discussion.

Flash Fiction Mini-Workshop with Chad V. Broughman.

Make micro-fiction less intimidating! Participants will learn the ins-and-outs of flash prose: what is it, what are its primary components, and why it’s resurging for readers and writers alike. You’ll leave armed with the tools, knowledge and inspiration to create a first short-short story on your own.
